What is the difference between a dream and a vision?

Many women confuse a dream and a vision. But the difference between them is exactly what allows moving from thought to action.

The dream is personal, sensory, not always clear. It speaks to the heart. It reminds me of what is missing, what attracts me, what is bubbling inside me.

The vision is a rational translation of this dream into a path. It already includes direction, definitions, a framework. It does not ask “What do I feel?” but “What will this look like in a year?”

One can dream all their life—without moving anywhere. But only when I build a vision, do I start walking.

For example:

  • The dream: “I want to influence women.”
  • The vision: “I am establishing a weekly content group where women learn to communicate with their bodies again.”
  • The dream: “I want to bring healing to the world.”
  • The vision: “I am turning my work with Bach flowers into a regular therapeutic service, with clients and financial stability.”

Every change begins with a dream, but only a vision makes it happen.

And if you don9t know how to articulate your vision—it’s not because you have no vision. It just means you need a moment of calm, support, and precision. That is exactly what our challenge is for.
